What Is Sacred Grit?

Men’s Healing, Retreats, and Transformation with Jason Lyle

This isn’t church. It’s not therapy. It’s something ancient and honest.

Jason Lyle shares the mission of Sacred Grit—men’s healing, ancient wisdom, and honest brotherhood.

It’s for the man who’s done the hard things but still feels hollow. For the one who’s tried religion, tried escaping, tried numbing—and still knows there’s something more.

Sacred Grit, founded by Jason Lyle, is a path back to your inner world. It’s men’s healing retreats, trauma-informed coaching, and brotherhood for real transformation.

This journey is nervous system regulation. Breathwork. Movement. Stillness. It’s fire circles, cold plunges, and quiet conversations in the woods.

Sacred Grit is about meeting yourself honestly—and walking forward from that place, into true healing and spiritual awakening.

  • Most people build a brand by design.
This one was built by experience.

    • Sacred Grit emerged not from theory, but from a life that cracked open.

    • From years of ministry and wilderness therapy.

    • From infidelity, addiction, and the long road home.

    • From standing barefoot in rivers, not pews.

    • From breath work and cold water.

    • From silence. From scars.

    • From the quiet knowing that real transformation comes not in the spotlight—but in the unseen work of staying.

    I’m Jason Lyle.

And this work is the fruit of everything I’ve lived through, and everything I’ve learned about what it means to be a man with a soul.

  • I also run a nonprofit called Adventures in Recovery, where we guide men through community wilderness trips and mentorship.

That work continues, rooted in community and service.
But Sacred Grit is the evolution.
    It’s the deeper dive.

The place where I bring everything I’ve learned, everything I offer, and everything I believe about healing into one integrated, soul-centered container.

  • The figure in the Sacred Grit logo is holding Astavakrasana, or Eight-Angle Pose—a shape that demands strength, stillness, and surrender all at once.

According to legend, Astavakra was a sage who was born with eight physical deformities. As a child, he was mocked and judged based on how he looked. But his wisdom ran deep—and when he entered the court of King Janaka, it was his inner truth that silenced every critic.

This pose honors that story. It reminds us that strength doesn’t come from appearing perfect—it comes from owning every part of ourselves, especially the broken parts.

That’s the heart of Sacred Grit: holding tension without collapse. Being strong enough to stay. And wise enough to know where true power lives.

  • This isn’t for everyone.
But if you’re hungry for something real…
If you’re ready to slow down, breathe deep, and rebuild from the inside out—
    Then welcome.

You already have everything you need.
Sacred Grit just helps you remember.
